Bacchus Africa was established in 2021 by a respected Tanzanian entrepreneur who also owns a large-scale winery in the Dodoma region. He was later joined by an experienced South African wine industry expert and business owner. Together, they recognized a growing need for technical support, equipment, and quality supplies within the fast-expanding local wine industry.
Who We Are
Our main goal is to provide tailored solutions for wineries and the broader agricultural sector in Tanzania. Bacchus Africa operates from our office and showroom in Kizota, Dodoma, where we supply winemaking equipment, consumables, spare parts, and offer reliable technical support. We invite you to visit our shop in Kizota — we stock almost everything a winemaker might need!
Our Mission
We are committed to raising the standards of viticulture and winemaking in Tanzania. Over the past few years, we've hosted training courses presented by seasoned lecturers from South Africa. These programs have been enthusiastically attended by winemakers of all ages, and we're proud to have contributed to the significant improvements in wine quality in the region.
Expanding Our Services
Bacchus Africa recently welcomed a sales and marketing consultant to expand our service offering to other industries, particularly within agriculture value chain addition. We're continuously expanding and improving our services to better serve the growing needs of East Africa's agricultural sector.
